Since its inception in 1983, the WBAL Kids Campaign has partnered with local non-profits to help fund and champion programs that build skills, confidence and connection for young children – making Baltimore better, one child at a time.

Our Mission

The WBAL Kids Campaign advances the educational, vocational, recreational, civic and social development of children in underserved communities in the Baltimore region – expanding opportunity and belonging for every child in Baltimore through education, enrichment, and community programs.

Supporting Our Youth

Local Non-Profits Express Gratitude to WBAL Kids Campaign

“Your support makes it possible for the Parks and People Foundation to continue to offer a continuum of age-appropriate youth programming . . . that provide[s] literacy, environmental, and character education curriculums at little or no cost to families. Thank you for making the important work we do possible!”

The Parks and People Foundation

“The lnner City Suburban Youth Foundation Inc., is pleased to have the WBAL Kids Campaign as a proud supporter of our organization. With your support, the Foundation has provided field trips to the Greats Blacks in Wax Museum, Camden Yards, and the State House in Annapolis. These trips were enriching for the students and left a great impact on their futures. Additionally, the WBAL Kids Campaign assisted us in providing computer tablets to city students to continue their virtual educational studies during the pandemic. Our many thanks to the WBAL Kids Campaign for their continued support.”

The Inner City Suburban Youth Foundation

“We are grateful for the support of our Academy’s summer program. Since our programs are offered to our students tuition-free, we depend on the generous support of organizations like the Kids Campaign to help us provide the resources we need to operate the Academy.”

St. Ignatius Loyola Academy

“Thanks to the WBAL Radio Kids Campaign, Camp Puh’tok provided 1,380 summer camp experiences that were well organized, fun, and COVID-free. We are forever grateful for your support.”
